Ladies and gentlemen!
Gmunden, a small town with 15,000 inhabitants and probably one of the most beautiful places in Austria, is gaining considerable momentum in establishing academic programs and institutes. Importantly, when a new promising field such as NeuroIS is emerging, it is both a pleasure and honor to support the meeting of world class scholars in our lovely town. In this spirit, I am convinced that the Gmunden Retreat on Advances in NeuroIS will result in innovative knowledge that can pave the way for groundbreaking insights into the development and use of computer systems.
